It is a two year full time course recognized by the Government of Karnataka and the Pre-University Board, Karnataka.

This course is a pedestals/foundation for all Professional Courses. In S.P.U.C students have the options of Science and Commerce to pursue different Course like Medicine, Engineering, Bio-Technology, Law, Chartered Accountant …etc, so that the students can fulfil their academic and professional aspirations.

In Pre-University Course students study 2 languages and 4 core subjects in each year. At the end of the first year, students write/appear for District level exam and at the end of second year they need to face a State Level Board exam to complete the course.

Good Theoretical Knowledge is shared in the Class rooms and well equipped labs provide a good Practical knowledge for the Science students.

Well experienced faculty members create a good educational atmosphere and share their experiences and knowledge with the students.

Students are encouraged to participate in Co-curricular activities to sharpen their skills. Seminars & guest lecturers help in better understanding of subject.

Thus enabling an all-round development of students by conducting different academic & co-curricular activities in SPUC.
