We conduct monthly tests apart from formal tests like quarterly, mid-term and annual. We engage remedial classes for under performers and measure them through remedial tests. This is done through mentor system where each lecturer takes care of twenty five students.
The college strives for the development of cultural activities like dance, music, drama, painting etc. and literary activities such as debates, essay writing etc. Students are encouraged to participate in such events at the college level and intercollegiate level.
As per the PU guidelines, 75% of attendance is required to be eligible to take the annual examination
We inform parents about student’s progress through parent-teacher’s meetings. Attendance will be updated to parent’s everyday through SMS.
The Seshadripuram Educational trust offers ‘Merit Scholarship’ of Rs.10000/- to students who secure 85% and above in the SSLC or equivalent examination. It also offers free and direct admission to students who secure 95% and above Students can also avail Government of India scholarships, Defence Scholarships and Special Scholarships.
A student can shift to any stream of commerce or arts after completing II PUC Science, especially high profile courses like MBA after completion of B.Com or B.A. or even paramedical courses.
We have introduced free CET coaching from the academic year 2014-2015. CET aspirants can avail this facility.
To ensure safety and security of girls, we have established the ‘Girls Safety Committee’ consisting of lady lecturers, who receive complaints from girls and solve their problems. CCTV’s have been installed in all the classrooms and strategic locations of the college premises for efficient monitoring.
